Hockey / Ringette Collection Controller Functions

These are the game controller functions specific to the Hockey and Ringette collections

Shot Tracking

To increment the shots for the home team, tap the left shoulder button (#13). To increment the shots for the away team, tap the right shoulder button (#12).

To remove a shot from either team, hold the down button on the direction pad (#7) and tap the corrosponding shoulder button (left *(#13)*for home, and right (#12) for away)

Clock

Use the right trigger (#10) to start and stop the game clock.

Clock state

When the clock is running, the background of the app will turn green. When it is stopped, the background of the app will be red.

Adjusting the clock

To add time to the game clock, push up on the left joystick (#9). The further you move the joystick, the faster time will be added. To remove time from the game clock, push down on the left joystick.

Shot Clock (Ringette Collection Only)

To reset the shot clock to 30 seconds, use the left trigger button (#11).

Adjusting Shot Clock

To add time to the shot clock, push right on the left joystick (#9). To remove time from the shot clock, push left on the left joystick.

Penalty Clock

To add time to a penalty clock, hold down the left (for home) or right (for away) buttons on the direction pad (#7) and push up on the left joystick. To remove time from a penalty clock, hold the appropriate direction pad button and push down on the left joystick.

Penalty Adjustments

Only the first penalty time can be adjusted for each team.

Clearing Penalties

To clear the home penalties, hold the left button on the direction pad (#7) and press the right thumbstick button (#8)(push straight down).

To clear the aaway penalties, hold the right button on the direction pad (#7) and press the right thumbstick button (#8)(push straight down).

Clear All

You can clear all penalties, on screen text, and theme images by pressing the right thumbstick button (#8) (push straight down).
